Black Swan (2010) is a  psychological thriller about the pressures and insecurities of rival ballerinas with Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, and Vincent Cassel. While frightening and hypnotizing, the film lacks a level of realism and empathy. Additionally, the film has a noticeable amount of CGI and special effects that distracts from Portman’s nightmarish trauma. 8/10
